Our Cirrus aircraft provides students the opportunity to train on one of the most advanced avionics platforms available today—the Garmin Perspective. Combining ease of handling for students with the versatility needed for business travel, the Cirrus is the ideal dual-purpose aircraft. Once you complete a personalized check-out process with Elite Aircraft Services, it can also be rented for solo flights.
Twenty of your required 40 hours for the Instrument Check Ride can be simulated flight time. This can be completed either in the aircraft using a vision-restricting hood or in one of our advanced, FAA-approved flight simulators.
The FAA mandates a minimum of 40 flight hours to qualify for your private pilot certificate, though most of our students log closer to 100 hours before their check ride. Completing the Cirrus Aircraft transition course generally requires 6-10 flight hours, along with additional ground instruction. The timeline to earn your private pilotʼs license varies based on your availability and commitment, which is why we tailor our training to fit your schedule to create a personalized experience for every student.
